So I got bored over Christmas break and decided to mess around with fiberglass. I hadn't done anything with it before, so I wanted to try making brake ducts in place of where those little vents go in the front of the s13 bumper. It's not done yet because I ran out of time while I was home and wasn't bringing the car down to VA with me. It still needs to be finish sanded and painted when I head back home. Here are a couple pics of how it's coming so far.
I also decided to fix the little hole from the Nissan emblem that had long since fallen off. And I needed to once and for all fix the split in the bottom part of the bumper from hitting that damn racoon a couple years ago.
I think once it gets painted it's going to look pretty good. We'll just have to wait and see what happens when I can finally finish everything up.
I've also been working on a splitter for the front, but I doin't have any pictures of that yet, but it was just a first attempt and didn't come out as well as I had hoped. _________________ TIP Engineering

Ehh...they look alright....but we should probably focus more on keeping the engine cool rather than the brakes at this point...thoughts? hah |

I'll add ducting for the rad onto the bumper now that it's fixed. And besides the cooling problems weren't from an airflow problem it was because of bubbles stuck in the lines and a bad thermostat. _________________ TIP Engineering

Once the summer comes around we plan on producing some of these products on a by request basis until we figure out what there is a high demand for. So if you would be interested in the splitter after you see the pics of the finished product let us know!

School is the reason that this isn't done yet. Once it's over and I'm done with it, the splitter will be fitted up and tested. Hopefully, it'll work like planned, but then again zero design went into it, it was more of an experiment with fiberglass and aero, so we'll see. If it does anything, the second iteration will be badass. I'll get some pics once it gets fitted on the car.
