That was an awesome week. I can't wait to go back next year but it is going to be a long hard year with the Seniors we'll be losing.

The car was running really well, top 40 time in autox with twice the pressure in the tires we wanted to run due to an oversight after the acceleration test by our suspension guy. The driver said it felt like he was driving on butter but still pulled a great time out of it.

Unfortunately, only 2 laps into endurance a jet nut that should have been replaced after being removed during tech backed off and the driver was essentially running WOT and riding the brakes. So we were black flagged by the 6th lap. Sad

Awesome, competition is usually a good time even though you're crazy busy and exhausted all the time.

That sucks about endurance. The VT car didn't finish endurance this year either. They had trouble with the dynamic seal for the oil pump and it got sucked into the engine and sprayed oil out. So they got black flagged.

Yeah I heard about them and we were right next to UTA who was the fastest in Autox by far but they failed endurance too.

Looking forward to the meeting tonight where we decide what team we want to be on. I'm leaning toward suspension/chassis and either DAQ/tuning or brakes.

Ha... I'm on all three teams that I mentioned this year.
Should be fun!
